Grand Central to Third Avenue

Unlike today's Shuttle, this line never reached the West side of Manhattan.

GRAND CENTRAL

Grand Central had two tracks with two side platforms and an island platform, all joined at the west end.

THIRD AVENUE

The east end of the line had a right angle platform shared with the downtown third avenue local . A track connection led to the southbound third avenue line.
