• Metro-North would like to add service to NY Penn Station. Their Hudson Line trains would use the Amtrak Empire Service Line to get to Penn Station. while their  Harlem and New Haven Line trains would use the Hellgate Line Used by Amtrak service to Boston  and the East River LIRR Tunnels to get to Penn Station. Additional stations, location to be determined would be added

Your webmaster sees a big problem: Penn Station is beyond Capacity with many rush hour trains held in the tunnels outside the station. LIRR has already publicly stated that it would add  service when East Side Access opens and not decrease service to/ from Penn Station. Stay tuned!

• The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey would like to add Rail Service to Stewart Airport. There are varied options, some of which include rerouting the Port Jervis Line  away from Hoboken via tracks on a new Tappan Zee Bridge. Stay Tuned !
