NJT Bergen Line

This line begins at Hoboken Terminal and ends at Suffern New York. West denotes trains to Suffern and East denotes trains to Hoboken. All platforms are low unless noted.

We will begin at Harmon Cove which is a two track  two low platform station. Rutherford follows with two mini high platforms, and two tracks. The station is at street level. Garfield and Plauderville are next . These station have no station house and two low asphalt strips as platforms

 Broadway ( Fair Lawn) and Radburn (Fair Lawn) follow . Broadway has no station house while Radburn has one on the South Side. Both feature asphalt strips and two tracks.

Glen Rock (Boro Hall) follows with a small canopy and two  mini high platforms and a station house on the South side. We rejoin the main Line and enter Rutherford which currently has low platforms but mini-high platforms are planned. From South to North tracks and platforms are as follows:

Wall platform, track, another track , island platform , track, Wall platform The line is on a high embankment on the North end and a cut on the South.

Ho-Ho-Kus  follows with two tracks and two wall platforms and station houses. The volunteer fire department has twin diaphone air horns installed on one of the station houses that sound for alarms and test at 4pm every day.

 Waldwick follows with two tracks and two low wall platforms. A closed station house was seen on the North side.. West of this station is a small maintenance of Way Yard to the North.

Allendale follows with two tracks, two wall platforms and a crossunder. Ramsey is next with two mini-high platforms. A station house is on the South Side.

We arrive at the last New Jersey Station- Mahwah, which at one time had a Ford Auto Assembly plant. There are two tracks and two low wall platforms.

Suffern , New York is next. Two low platforms and two tracks. A station house serve Eastbound while a bus shelter serves westbound. This is also the start for the Port Jervis Line Train crews swap here.  Terrain is moderately rolling.
