Jennifer Lopez was all smiles entering a Los Angeles dance studio on Friday amidst rumors of a potential split with Ben Affleck. She sported wide-legged white sweats, a cream off-the-shoulder top, and matching sneakers, her hair styled in a high bun, ready for a day of dancing.
Lopez, 54, wore a similar outfit earlier this week while house hunting, which an insider claimed was for an investment property, not related to breakup rumors. Meanwhile, Affleck, 51, has also been looking for homes in Los Angeles. He has been residing in Brentwood while they work through their issues.
Affleck was photographed driving his sports car in Brentwood, still wearing his wedding band. Lopez was also seen wearing a ring on her left finger at the dance studio, though it’s unclear if it was her wedding ring. Despite no official word on their relationship status, Lopez liked an Instagram post about partners with unhealthy qualities, hinting at possible marital problems.
An insider told Us Weekly that the couple started experiencing serious issues a few months ago as Lopez prepared for her tour. “Jen is very focused on work,” the source said, adding that they are often on different pages. Lopez’s rebranded tour, “This Is Me…Live | The Greatest Hits,” which has struggled with ticket sales, is set to start in June.
Affleck has previously mentioned the need for compromise in their relationship. Reflecting on their past breakup, he cited media scrutiny as a catalyst. In Lopez’s documentary, “The Greatest Love Story Never Told,” he expressed his initial reluctance to have their relationship in the public eye, but later acknowledged the unfairness of that expectation.
“Bennifer” was first engaged in 2002 but broke up in 2004. They reunited after Lopez’s 2021 split from Alex Rodriguez, marrying in Las Vegas in July 2022 and celebrating in Georgia the following August. Lopez celebrated their union in a fan newsletter, expressing that love is beautiful, kind, and patient.
