Porn star issues stark warning to young girls: ‘You’re falling for it’

An Australian woman who made $7,000 selling adult content has shared an urgent warning for those considering the X-rated career.

Ainslie, who documents her travel adventures and gym journey on social media, has opened up about why she “regrets” earning money from creating explicit content for an adult subscription site – urging others to consider other options before it’s too late.

I think people really need to think hard about it before doing it. Once you start everything is on the internet forever,” Ainslie told news.com.au.

“I wish I had set boundaries for myself as I did things that were beyond what I was comfortable doing as you were trying to keep up with what everyone else is doing.”

“It was a lot more work then what you think especially if you don’t have a following.”

Ainslie expanded on this in a TikTok video in a bid to help more people, saying it seems like a “glamorous” way to earn money, until you suddenly find yourself doing more than you’re comfortable with.

“A lot of young girls think, ‘it’s going to be so easy to make money’, but in reality if you don’t have a following it’s a grind,” she said.

“It is a full time job within itself and I was working at the time and I was struggling to fit it all into my day,” she said.

“So I think another thing would be to set time in the morning or afternoon where you wanna talk to people because you wanna make money and it starts getting out of control talking to people all day long.”

Ainslie added that people shouldn’t be surprised if people they knew in their everyday life signed up to their page.

“I think I got like 120 subscribers in the three months that I did it, and you’d be surprised a lot of them are people that you used to work with or went to school with,” she shared.

The former porn star said towards the end of her time on the adult website she signed with an agency, but now warns others to think twice about doing the same, as a third party will take a cut of earnings.

Ainslie was transparent about her earnings, saying she uploaded to the service from late April to early August 2023 and made roughly $10,000.

You can make money on there if you want. I could only commit my time part-time. But if you’re doing it full time and really wanted to make money then you just have to consider all these other things,” she said.

“Ask yourself, is it who you wanna be? Is it in line with who you are?”

She said the reason she initially signed up was because she wanted to move overseas and was in need of an online job she could do anywhere.

“I wish I had thought about it much harder than I did because I regret it and I wish I didn’t do that.” she said.

“It was a weird part of my life.

“Don’t always believe everything that you see online. All these people on TikTok are doing these cringey videos to go viral and you’re falling for it.”
